How this list is compiled
Amrit Snan dates are calculated from Jupiter's zodiac position combined with the Hindu Panchang, the same method described on our Upcoming Kumbh Mela Dates page. Parva Snan dates are drawn from the same lunisolar calendar — equinoxes, eclipses, notable Ekadashis, Amavasyas and Purnimas — that fall within a Kumbh's active window at each host city. As with every date on this site, treat entries more than a year or two out as a strong planning reference rather than a locked booking date, and confirm specifics with the relevant state administration closer to your travel dates.
