The year at a glance
Two cities, one packed year
No other year on the 2026–2050 calendar fits two independent Amrit Snan sequences into twelve months — a real trade-off worth planning around rather than trying to do both.

Questions about the 2027 calendar
Two: the Haridwar Ardh Kumbh, with Amrit Snan days in March and April, and the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Purna Kumbh's principal Amrit Snan days in August and September — the busiest single year of the current cycle.
Not as one trip. The two cities are roughly 1,300 km apart and their Amrit Snan windows are five months apart, so they need to be planned as two separate journeys.
The 11–12 September Nashik dates are expected to be the largest, marking the main event of the entire 2026–27 Simhastha cycle.
