Ramkund, Nashik
A 17th-century stepped tank on the Godavari in the Panchavati locality of Nashik city, roughly 8 km from Nashik Road railway station and 24 km from Nashik (Ozar) Airport. The adjoining Tapovan grounds and Sadhugram tent township absorb most of the pilgrim and Akhada population.
Kushavarta Tirtha, Trimbakeshwar
A separate stepped tank about 400 m from the Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga temple, in the town of Trimbakeshwar — around 30 km west of Nashik city, at the base of the Brahmagiri hills where the Godavari is said to resurface.
